When I went to New York Central Park, there were a lot of trees. it was really cool because there are places where I could go that I could see a lot of the city. The park goes up very high! The city differs wherever you go. If you're going on museum mile on a weekend, it's going to be super crowded but then if you go during the weekdays during the off-season you'll really get to see everything and not worry about having to wait in long lines. Theaters are more expensive than most states here. They also give information before the film and tell you to watch your stuff and don't leave it behind because chances stealing is fairly high in NYC. New York is a very fast-paced city so people are trying to pace to get somewhere. People generally use taxis as an everyday source of transportation. Also another part of experiencing New York was that it was always a little sketchy whenever we went to the non-gentrified areas like going by the projects and lower income neighborhoods where it felt unsafe. Everything in New York is more expensive than in California. There's a really good restaurant called rice to riches that is a all rice pudding restaurant. There are other enjoyable foods in little Italy. Overall, York is a good place to get out of your comfort zone if you're not used to big cities and to really experience what it feels like being in such a metropolitan area. Montreal, Canada is one of many amazing cities to see in Canada! When I first visited Montreal, Canada, I was instantly attracted to all of the greens that were surrounding me," Jessica said. Many cities in Canada consist of trees (normally called greens) and known for nature. Canada is known for hockey, maple, and air. Actually, there are many movies such as Titanic, Blades of Glory, and Twilight are filmed throughout Canada. Tim Horton donuts are also very popular only in Canada and a must try Canadian asset. The popular belief is that after humans die a good and peaceful life, they will be reincarnated into a cow. There are lanes but actually no one follows it. There are no divided lanes, stop signs, or traffic lights. In some traditional places, women would wear soris, a full bodied outfit with a scarf around their heads. They would even wear these to fancy outings such as weddings but normally just dress in modern everyday clothing. The weather is generally very hot in India, even during Winter. Overall, this is an exciting and exotic city to visit. When you think of Texas, do you generally think of the typical cowboy like looks and western accents? On contrary to popular belief, Houston, Texas is actually very modern! Houston is the capital of Texas and probably the most populated city in all of Texas. The first attraction that stood out to me was NASA's Johnson's Space Center. This is a museum filled with artifacts NASA used or uses. I even had the opportunity to try to space ice cream for the first time! Then I went to a famous typical fast food place WhatABurger! It was delicious and had such a different and distinctive taste from the burgers I've tried. I visited Galveston beach too. It was a beautiful people filled with people. The water is actually from the Gulf of Mexico which appears more brownish instead of clear blue from an ocean. They had a large Boardwalk "Pleasure Pier" with rides, games on a large pier for an amazing view! The weather there is usually humid, even in the Winter time. Most homes and towns were built in a metropolitan style. There are tall buildings close together and several intertwining roads! Overall, Houston is a unique and fascinating city you have to see for yourself! When I went to Japan, I visited the amazing city of Tokyo. There are many people wandering and roaming the streets here. One of the best cities in Japan was Akihabara. Akihabara is an area with a variety of electronic places, action figurines, manga, anime, and video games. Besides that, the city is beautiful filled with many lights and buildings. It is especially beautiful at night. One of the best things I've seen in Tokyo was the Hachiko statue. I first heard about Hachiko in just the fourth grade. It was such an inspiring story of a dog who stayed extremely loyal to his owner until his death. He wait ten years for his master and his legacy will forever live on in the heart of Japan! Most of the people of Tokyo travel and transport by taking a train called shinkansens. Local people walk around the area and walk to their destinations. Others take the shuttles and buses to get them to where they need to be.Tokyo is also known for having amazing and delicious food. One of the most known attraction worldwide is Walt Disney World. This is one of the largest theme parks in the US. It was the first Disney attraction to be built. There is also a Disney shopping boutique outside the park. Another beautiful must see attraction is are the Wishes Fireworks. This is can be viewed inside the park to see all the Disney princes and princesses or can simply be view at home through a window in the beautiful dark sky! These are just some of the plenty more amusement parks, and tourism to view (like Universal Studios, Magic Kingdom, etc.) in the magical city of Orlando. Las Vegas is probably the most popular city in the Nevada. The city itself is known as "The Entertainment Capital of the World." I have been to Vegas too many times to remember but each and everytime I go, I always have a great time! See, Vegas isn't just about drinking, gambling, or clubbing. There are many things you can do as a minor in Vegas. One summer of 2012, I went with my best friend Kellie. This was one of the most memorable trips I've had! Since we were underage, we were limited to places to go and things to do. We decided to go shopping! We went shopping at huge outlets with amazing deals at our favorite stores! If you didn't know, sales tax in Vegas is actually a lot cheaper than most US states. Then we went swimming! Were were both stay at the hotel Planet Hollywood and the pool was extremely nice! There was actually two pools and two hot tubs! Our room overlooked the city of Vegas. The lights were bright and beautiful. We went to go eat dinner at Rio's World Buffet. This buffet was a bit pricey but had food that ran a mile long. All the foods varied from several different countries! There was even a desert court! We went cosmic bowling afterwards at South Point. Next to the bowling alley, there was huge movie theater! We walked the streets of Vegas sightseeing the magical water show at Bellagio. The next day we went to see a magic act in MGM, David Copperfield. The shows in Vegas are so huge! We walked around and ran into a gold tinman. I gave him a dollar and it turns out he's a real person! He got up and danced the robot! There's even a small Chinatown in Vegas!we visited a few more hotels and each of them were all so special in their own way! Las Vegas is a beautiful city with so many amazing hotels, restaurants, and attractions to visit! Paris is the capital of France also known as the "City of Lights." There were so many things to do there! As a tourist, I plan to visit many phenomenal attractions. The first place I would like to visite was the Palais-Royal Gardens. This not just any garden, no, this is a beautiful formal, elegant gardens with hundreds of elegant shops hidden behind the walls. There are designer boutiques, perfumeries, and restaurants. In fact this beautiful architecture used to be the home of the royals. Another must see attraction is the boat ride, Bateau Mouche. This ride is approximately 2-4 hours cruising along the city's most beautiful landmarks such the Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, Champ Élysées, and many more. This is the best way to sightsee Paris within a matter of hours! Of course, I can't forget about Paris' most beloved monument, the Eiffel Tower. There is so much more to the Eiffel Tower than I could imagine! Aside the spectacular view, there are many other activities to do! There are special exhibitions, boutiques, and eateries. One of the most famous restaurant I plan to attend is Alain Ducasse. They vary in cafes to elegant dinners at Le Jules Verne. There are many shopping malls all around Paris that are twice the size of average homes! Although, the food may be a bit pricey. My aunt lives in France and suggests Restaurant L'arpège. They apparently have escargot (snails) which is very delicious there. The overall appearance of the restaurant seems satisfactory. Paris is definitely a city to visit!!
